Rep. Knowles recently joined several lawmakers to present checks to Nativity B.V.M. High School in Pottsville and to St. Jerome's School in Tamaqua. The funds were provided under the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program, which gives tax incentives to businesses to make thousands of dollars in scholarships available to families across Pennsylvania.
